Dr. Mark Beehner received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree cum laude at Loyola University of Dentistry and earned his Medical Degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Beehner is a community member of the Evolution and Medicine Center at Arizona State University, a new and exciting movement in medical education. He is a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force Dental Corp where he spent nine years on active duty and twenty-seven years as a reserve officer. Dr. Beehner looks forward to providing you with great personalized and effective care.
Dr. Beehner practices all aspects of the specialty including dental extractions, removal of wisdom teeth, dental implant placement, bone grafting, treatment of traumatic injuries, jaw reconstruction, pathology evaluation and treatment, facial pain and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) evaluation and treatment, plus much more. He sees patients of all ages – pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Dr. Beehner sees patients with any past medical conditions and develops a treatment plan based on the individual, patient-specific background and needs. He is adept at listening to patient concerns to try to provide care for each patient in a realistic and caring manner.

Dr. Beehner attended Loyola University of Chicago where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then went to Loyola University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree cum laude. He did a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Scott Air Force Base. Dr. Beehner completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He received his Board Certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986. He earned his Medical Degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and then completed an internship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Beehner was on the training staff at Washington University School of Medicine and in private practice for twenty-five years prior to joining Dr. Guyette’s Facial & Oral Surgery Center. Since moving to the Phoenix area, Dr. Beehner has become a community member of the Evolution and Medicine Center at Arizona State University, a new and exciting movement in medical education.
Dr. Beehner is a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force Dental Corp where he spent nine years on active duty and twenty-seven years as a Reserve Officer.

Dr. Beehner has published articles on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and contributed to a textbook on Plastic Surgery in the area of facial trauma and orthographic surgery. Dr. Beehner has two sons and a daughter. He and his wife, a healthcare consultant, enjoy traveling, bicycling, music, and the theater.
